Koala Utopia

Inspired by the seminal novel Watership Down by Richard Adams and the magnetic 1978 animated film of the same name, Koala Utopia is a film that addresses the devastating effects of climate change, told through the eyes of those it hurts the most, the wildlife.

Reaching family audiences on an emotional level with drama and levity, Koala Utopia references Aboriginal culture and is driven by charming, adventurous, brave characters with a beautiful soul at its core. It’s quintessentially about love, hope and family.

An original screenplay from Antony J Bowman, based on the story idea by Daniel Mitchell.
